I have recently started making custom iTouch covers for friends as gifts and have found it pretty easy to do.
With some felt, fabric clippings and embroidery thread, a lot can be done to make something not only protective, but attractive for your iTouch or iPhone. Gift for my friend's Birthday. I included his gaming interest and his username/hobby.
This one is also a Birthday gift, but for my younger brother. I also included his gaming interests on both sides. Two of his favorite games are Minecraft and Halo. So I did the Halo emblem and a helmet on one side and a Creeper face and a Diamond Pickaxe from the game.
